Project Director, Andrée
Aelion Brooks is a journalist, author, and lecturer.
In the past she has received the American Jewish Woman of Achievement award
from the American Jewish Committee and a special award from
the Consulate General of Israel in conjunction with the American
Sephardic Federation for her work in Sephardic Jewish History.
She has also received an outstanding achievement award from
the National Federation of Press Women for her news reporting
at the New York Times. Brooks is an Associate Fellow
at Yale University and the founder of the Women's Campaign School
at Yale. |

Curriculum producer, Yvonne
Behar is a teacher and curriculum specialist with 20
years of classroom experience. Behar is widely known for her
expertise in Sephardic music and culture. She has designed and
implemented interactive curriculum materials for schools and
summer camps and has been praised for her imaginative teaching
methods. |

Video producer, Craig Davidson
is an independent video documentary producer and winner of many
awards. He has created productions for CNN, PBS, Fox and HBO,
some of which have also covered aspects of Jewish history. |

Prof. Jane Gerber is the director of the
Institute for Sephardic Studies at City University of New
York and author of the award-winning book, "The Jews
of Spain" (1992).
Rabbi Robert Orkand is the senior rabbi
of Temple Israel, Westport, CT, and a former Chairman of the
National Commission on Reform Jewish Education.
Mark Casso was director of Temple Israel
Religious School. |
